Wow! This is unbelievably good work. Amazing modelling. I love seeing the 'wireframe' versions of your builds and I'm always impressed at how you manage to get so much incredible detail with such a beautifully minimal number of polygons. Really exceptional!

Thanks J. I think I got a bit carried away with the addition of detail, butΒ it was balanced by a culling of polygons which borders on obsessive, so it turned out ok. I've got a bit stalled on technicalities like how to pose/adjust the seatbelt and setting up materials for Daz Studio (I reckon that's where the future lies), so I'll need to buckle down soon and get it moving again.

It's very cool. I've tried and tried to get into Daz Studio, but I just can't seem to get my head round it. So I stick with Poser. But I suspect that I'll get left behind as Poser becomes less and less capable of using the newer Daz capabilities and figures. As Daz fully intended to happen, I'm guessing! Oh well.

There are things I've always hated about Poser (like the awkward camera manipulation and that interface designed for a one-button mouse) and I quite like DS so far but the lack of documentation is a real problem. You just can't find answers easily, what info there is out there is so widely scattered that there's not much chance of finding what you're looking for. The DS renderer is really good, haven't seen any good renders come out of the new Poser yet, I'm starting to think most of the better artists have jumped ship. I like the newer Daz figures, so I think DS is worth embracing, even if learning it does melt the brain a bit.
