Omg I haven’t drawn them in so long, the last picture with them that was posted was in September. SEPTEMBER! AND I LOVE ZINK AND HARTY! Okay, so their designs only changed a little and their colours are a little different but I love them more now.

Lore time. Okay, so the Vessel Gang is just a joke name for two or more creatures who work for the Shadowman. They’re made from animals, man-made objects and sometimes even children which are exceptions to the Surface World’s rules (need a body, a spirit and a soul) and are very easily manipulated. They also most likely experienced a really traumatic experience like almost dying, abuse or neglect. Since they are so small and are more prone to change in the body from an outside source, the Shadowman will find these exceptions, put them through a ‘rebirthing’ process and manipulate them to be devoted to him and be walking eyes with magical abilities on the Surface World. They can get magical powers based on their actual or metaphorical ‘deaths’( like something that burned to death will have fire powers and an exception wanting to get away might get teleportation powers)from Sh.man’s ‘rebirth’. They vary in personality and their reason for working with Sh.man is different from each other but they are mostly malicious and deceptive in nature. Is this too much info? Well I don’t know

For the characters you know, Zink( white and blue squirrel glider child) is more saturated, innocent and OMG LOOK AT HER CONFUSED FACE AAAAAAAAAAA SHE DOESNT KNOW WHO THEY ARE AND WHO THEY WORK FOR EEEEEEEE
Chuu( blue abomination cat)’s eyes have changed and now he looks innocent as well even with his other eye open. It makes him look like a good boi but he isn’t a good boi 😉
I haven’t posted any but I love drawing Harty (pink abomination dog) evil. It’s really messed up but she’s the most expressive here. I feel like there are enough visual clues to let you know what’s happening to her

And then the character you guys don’t know, Mayella( I might change her name but I like this name). She’s been a character (a Victorian-style doll) since I first planned the story but I kept her a secret until now. I was planning to do more artwork with her and maybe put her in an animation so here she is. I like her design but I might plan to change her dress to something more in the culture of my story, so enjoy her maybe looking like this in this one ’cuz it might completely change 😉

Overall, I really like the colours for the characters and background. I made it so they mostly contrast, the colours speak for the character and they all just look so good aaaaaaaaa
