Oliza's wyvern form was first describe in Falcondance, but she had her own book (though I feel the series should had ended differently). Besides the fact that this wyvern is lacking her legs and talons, she looks nice. I love the head most of all, it really fits with the idea that this wyverns could almost be like modern dinosaurs (though I view them kind of more like raptors).
I love her wings.

This is actually rather accurate. There might have been some mention of legs in there somewhere, but that was rather unclear.

I was a little unclear on the actual description, especially because I've STILL only read the first three books (Wow, I really need to go back to that series and read more now), but it was really fun. I like the idea of legs, because I'm not sure how she'd land otherwise without scraping all her scales painfully. But I also like the idea of her still being able to slither, so I'm not sure which I'd prefer.
I have an odd obsession with details and how they'd work in different situations. LOL

The books never seemed to give an exact description...at least not the three that I read (hawksong, snakecharm, and falcondance). I'm not sure if she's written more in the series that describe the wavern better, though.
This is how I imagined it when they first found out Danika was pregnant in Snakecharm, and (though not how i imagined waverns either), I really had fun with the drawing!
Thanks for the comment!

I agree that those are my favorites so far. Falcondance was alright, but no where near as good as the first two.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. It was completely done with a ball-point pen, which made the shading really fun to do.
Haven't heard of an amphitere before...off to google it. ^.^

It's not a very known dragon but I like it. Loves to add birdwings on reptiles XD

I love dragons, and any reptile with wings. Adding the bird wings on the snake was fun because it was a challenge to go from feather to scale without an obvious line between the two. ^.^
