Description Here is pic two of three of the lovely little mermaid.

I did these quick doodles of Ariel for my secret Santa's present for Christmas. She didn't really request these but i knew she was a big fan of Ariel and that she had plenty o space on her wall in her room. So i printed these out and slapped them in frames and she had a very merry Christmas

You know what? I just though about something.

I know mermaids are supposed to "magical" (I'M NO HATER! I LUV ARIEL) and stuff,

But think about it. Scientists say that exploring the Sea is harder than exploring OUTER SPACE beacause of all of that underwater pressure. Think about it again. Mermaid must be pretty darn strong to with stand th crushing pressure of the deep sea, I mean, have you tried moving you arms when your completly underwarter?!Β Β

So, imagine how it must feel when you come up to the surface after pretty much half of your life underwater.

If they did come to live on the surface, they would probably be insanely strong.

the dinglehopper was actually a last minute addition that i'm very glad i threw in.
Thanks for noticing the line work! i used to just ink over my pencil lines then scan it in, but now i just scan my pencil work then just re trace it in photoshop. it takes some time but the end result is worth it

And that's the first thing I noticed about it, how clear and precise the lines were. They flow without interruption, but they're so CLEAN. And the coloring--give it to me NOW.

haha well just wanted to thank you by name is all People usually get shocked when i use their real name when thanking them and assume i'm stalking them or went to school with them

As for the coloring, i use the handy dandy program called Photoshop to color all my pieces. Coloring the line work is another way of giving the piece a softer and cleaner feeling when looking at it.
