I'm a huge fan of retro pin up girl pictures and just wanted to add a touch of that in this picture. She's sticking out her tongue but it's not all too apparent. Gotta fix that one of these days.......Related content

You definitely have that pin up style going on here. Very reminiscent of Gil Elvgren's work. A few things that really are off are the lighting in the piece. The image is getting washed out with the intense lighting which makes it feel she is right next to the light source. I think if you toned down the light source the tongue will be more prevalent and will be more playful akin to her personality.

hahaha man you caught me with the whole lighting thing. I was definitely playing around with it in this piece. i've seen alot of artists use the whole light washing over the whole piece technique and it always adds just a little something more to their piece and i wanted to try it with this one. Still working at it

This is clever. you get the pinup girl vibe, and it shows her superpowers. it's not just a girl posing as supergirl, it is supergirl.
