Anywho, a pic of Raul and Abby who are from As I promised to *Superdemon-Inuyasha forevers ago ;w;
Abby having one of those nights that she wishes her Raul was there by her side ;w;
SO YEAH....BEFORE PEOPLE TALK...THE BACKGROUND...YEAH...THE POWER OF BRUSHES! 8D I was sooo giving up on it but then I was just like: "Fuck it, I'm using brushes D<* I just can't do BGs T^T;;; The ocean was done by me though...That's what is all shitty looking LOL XD; I also did the bit of ship you can see HAHA but the sky and all that was done using brushes and layer effects on CS4 ;w;

The atmosphere & introspect (which is what you're always great with) is the heaviest here; and deliberate filtering helps create a night very soothing & balanced. (Enough shade to suggest a cloudy sky yet not sacrificing all the forms & colours. Although if there is a slight lack of reflected moonlight glazes on the OCs' skin & ship's surface despite presence of a moon) Asides the characters' healthy, wholesome forms & sharp, aquatic trappings for their outfits, what really defines this piece is their subtle expressions, telling yet not to the extent of being too obvious or emotional and the gentle movement of their hair & outfits. Also the slightly "misty" smoothness of the ocean has a haunting yet ethereal feel, very spiritual.
Sweet to see that you still are exploring & realizing RP moments via artworks, it really helps create a consistent sense of sequential storytelling and expands for both gallery & character album. Keep them coming!
