Colored versions of some sketches I posted in my scrapbook... I got to these a lot faster than I had expected to.
This is pretty much Marik as he appears in my fanfic "A Tomb-Keeper's Lot" where Marik and his siblings travel back to the tomb to tell the other Tomb-Keeper's that they've found the Pharaoh, but find things have taken a turn for the worst since they left.
And in case you're wondering, I have Marik wearing a jacket because in the story they get to the tomb in the middle of the night and nights in the desert are cold. Seriously, it can get below freezing. That's because the sand reflects heat so it doesn't conserve any of the heat from during the day. There's your science lesson for the week.
Anyways, drawing angsty/angry Marik is *really* fun. And although I love drawing his lovely muscle-y arms, I think he looks quite good in a jacket as well.
