Was bored so I drew a headshot of Violet on Paint. For those who don't know or didn't know me in my earlier days on dA, Violet used to be my ''main'' original character until I created Kraze, my current one. I discontinued using her because there were so many people who had dragon OC's named Violet and I guess I got bored of her aswell. I haven't drawn her since late 2008 I think, so there may be a minor change in her design. Just a little bit.
Once my computer gets fixed, I'll be able to install my tablet and GIMP, and I might draw the rest of her body
. I don't have the patience to do it on Paint, so yeah. xD And I just wish that my parents would stop procrastinating and get our damn computer fixed... it's been 6 freakin' months now >_<Violet the Dragon (C) Me.

Well since I am currently photoshopless I'm probably going to have to get used to gimp and I was playing around with it but ran into a problem I didn't know how to correct. o-o
Uhm I tried to move some lineart using the move tool and it moved but a box moved along with it and it wasn't letting me draw past the box.

Ah I see. GIMP can be a pain in the ass at times. I should know, I used the darn program for 3 years... xD
Anyway...hmmm...I think something like that happened to me once, but I honestly don't know how to fix it...I usually start over when some weird thing happens and I can't fix it. Did you by any chance shrink your lineart layer or something? That's all I could think of. Sorry :/

That's okay X] I managed to fix it by merging it with a blank layer beneath it. I might be getting CS5 from my teacher anyway. But if I have any other questions about gimp I'll cry because I've been spoiled with photoshop.

Hmm...well, I haven't really develop her personnality very much, but I guess she's more of the 'conserved' type and keeps her composure very well.

Ehh...I'm not too sure about changing her name...it'll feel weird by calling her something else and I'm kinda used to calling her Violet. Besides, I suck at making up new names.
