Once Varian was endlessly bugged into taking his daughter from the Nook he had soon realized something, his current lifestyle was not very cut out with having a child around, he felt much more restricted and honestly didn't enjoy his newfound company at all, related or not.
Nettle was outspoken and a nuisance so far, seeming to not think too highly of him for dumping her at the Nook as an egg, she remarked at almost everything her father did that was in the slightest bit wrong. Holding onto that bitterness at Varian which was rightfully hers, not that he would ever admit such a thing.
She followed him everywhere, marking her remarks or scoffing at his antics, commenting several times on how she should have stayed at the Nook, he wish she had.
"Y'know for a kid that walks on four feet still, you're so slow" he complained.
But Nettle took none of his sass to her in return.
"Y'now, for an adult who is supposed to be in his prime, your a pretty lousy parent" she retorted straight back at him without batting an eye, like arguments came second nature to her.
Varian clenching his teeth in annoyance and continuing on while Nettle stuck up her nose and proceeded at a slower pace then before.
The party of two coming to a small notice board where Varian stopped and looked it over, small jobs here and there that needed doing, easier jobs he could do to get some money, it would be a long way off for him being able to afford a place of his own.
turning his heard to his daughter still walking along, he called her to his side with irritation at her short strides.
