I finally finished this comic page for "Buwan ng Wika" or "The Month of Language" celebration in August. I plan to use comics to showcase our cultures and histories in the Philippines for the month of August.

In the Philippines, videoke has become a common pastime during celebrations, parties, and other events. I observed that the majority of the videoke shows dancers and women in bikinis on the screen while the song plays. In my analysis as a teenager, I found these things to be very wrong in many ways.
