Im curious, someone said ferrets smell bad...do they?

Everything animal has a smell. Dogs do, fish do, humans do.
So I can't lie, if you pick up one of my ferrets and smell them, they will have a scent. HOWEVER, if a ferret is not de-scented they can have a stronger smell. They're in the same family as skunks and badgers mind you. Also, if you do not keep their ears, bedding and littler box clean then yes they can stick. If you care for them properly they do not smell.
I have eight in my basement, that's where their cage set up is, and you'd never guess there was that many.

Lol I know that about the smells just that someone told me that ferrets smelled really bad compared to other pets. But yea, I guess grooming would be figured in there

A lot has changed with domestic ferrets and their care. So now we just need to let people know that they do not stick with proper care.
