Description Not another seahorse....that's what you're thinking, right? But I can't help it, I love them so much T_T
The drawing is pretty large - almost A2 so what you see might not be very clear because I've scanned it in 4 pieces and sticked them together

This is better than most of the newspaper work i've seen.
You don't have to be full time, a lot of illustration work is freelance!

In australia we have weekend news papers as thick as a brick,
with about a dozen supplements full of disposable journalism and
disposable art.....250,000 copys in next weeks garbage bins.

Thank you very much!
wow...so many trees are being cut in Australia for those papers O_o Here people read only cheap tabloids
There's a major difference between Romania and Australia - Romania is a 3'rd world country. That means that people's lifestyle is very low here, the salaries are 10 times smaller (although the prices are the same or even higher) and there's no interest in art at all. I could go on forever with examples...

The last thing I want is to make light of Romania's economic troubles and I have great
respect for the art and people from there,
But you have history, culture and a passion that comes from adversity..... the seeds
of good art and music. (I love Gypsy music!)(myself allegedly 1/16th French Gypsy)

I know this is a cliche but put so well by Zimmelzumm on U Tube:

"that kind of spirit isn't really present anywhere now.. Just hiding, some people try to keep it alive but it's fading away. The selfishness of the 'civilized' and wealthy people corrupts everything. I'm living in middle-europe and the situation is the same. Only a few knows that the real wealth is within".

well iv got a degree in illustration and design, and your alot better than i am, so if you cant be get an illustration job im screwed . Im sure one failed attempt isnt the seal of doom on you having an illustration job, you are the equal to most of the artists whos work i see on book jackets i read

maybe you're right (and thanks for the support). However you're forgetting that I'm living in a 3rd world country... There are very few jobs like that here and a huge number of applicants; either you're the best, either you're unemployed (I'm the second)

thanx for the fav
It's a large drawing, that why it seems to have a lot of details, but in reality it's pretty boring XD (I've decided to go large from now on)

Your editing skills are impressive. I couldn't see any signs that the piece was scanned in four different parts!

This is beautiful. I am a fan of the ol' seahorse too!
