Description ...Aaand here's another pencil sketch I've just finished. The scan wasn't that great because the drawing is A3 and my scanner is A4, so I've had to scan each half separately and then unite them. Also the shading is a bit darker on paper (which is yellowish).

I roamed around your gallery today and I stopped at this work. You probably don't know, but I'll tell you that thisΒ was the first of your work that I've ever seen. I added it to my favorites few days after you submited it on deviantart in 2009. Then your art somehow disappeared from my sight. I remember that I liked this image very much. It stuck in my memory so well. I can't say that about most images that I seen on this site. I'm glad that I could reunite with your art again. Since this work your talent has grown even more beautiful.

That's very flattering. There's a contradiction in my mind, I either consider my artwork my purpose, either a waste of time. I'm happy to read that it's not worthless; at least not today. I sleep less to get it done. I can say that I am considered rather a failure because I don't have a career, money or my own family. Thank you for your kind words, I truly appreciate them.

So this is me - smooth flatterer Daria, I think you're a genius Seriously. It doesn't always go hand in hand with career and money. Is this what you care about most? I don't think so. Of course that your works aren't worthless. Many people love your effort. And when it means somethin' to someone or even to you alone it can't be worthless. I have to admit that your art is inspiring for me. Especially the traditional works. It makes me want to draw something again or try to paint. Even if it didn't go as I wanted for me. Well, I guess practice makes perfect. And you're great example of it. When it comes to life we always have time to be late - like one of my teachers from primary school used to say. So don't worry. Everythin' will be alright in time.

I'm glad I was able to inspire. I found technique less important than honesty, I don't know if my works are necessarily "correct", but I do know that they don't reflect a fake image of me. Actually, I admire your photos, I have a camera but I can never take a good shot, I just don't see the world like you do.

I see the world from a high perspective because I'm almost two meters tall Although I don't think it affect my photos very muchΒ Β  To be honest I have my own camera since last year. Before that I was shooting with what I had on hand. I did a little photos then and not very often. So I can say that I just getting started. My main passion was and still is drawing. But for various reasons I was not drew systematically. I can tell that you put soul in your work. Good to know that you placing piece of yourself in them. Honest art is true.

U..UU ..UUU ... interesanta conversatie , din pacate creionul/carbunele nu prea se impaca cu scanatu'...o solutie ar fi folosirea tusului .
Mai posteaza , cand mai ai timp .Poate ca imi fac si eu curaj sa scot schitele la inaintare . Ce creioane ai folosit (duritate) , si cat a durat toata lucrerea ( cap -coada) ?

Din nefericire nu prea am de ales, mi-e usor sa desenez in creion si dureaza mult mai putin sa fac un desen. La acest desen am lucrat aproximativ 5 ore (destul de mult pt un A3)... Am folosit un pix 0.7 cu mina B (asa scrie pe mine, dar eu cred ca-s HB de fapt) si un creion 5B - sunt singurele creioane pe care le mai am
Astept cu nerabdare sa vad schitele tale - si mai ales temele abordate (a se citi "de ce nu le-ai uploadat deja?")
