If you guys don’t know who this is, this is Super Mario Richie. SMR has been making plush videos for over 7 years and is slowly fading away. He rarely posts videos and his view count is heavily increasing. Speaking about his videos, they’re not even funny. They’re super serious just like his SMR Stories videos. He always makes Instagram livestreams saying that he’s just been taking a short break and will be back to posting daily soon. But that has never happened, even though he has been posting more than he did back at the end of 2020. He quit making vlogs in his non plush channel Richie Vecsei and turned it into some dumb plush channel. He never hangs out with his friends anymore and isn’t even planning on making POTP Season 3. In fact, it seems like he’s not even gonna upload the entire series on YouTube because of his “short” break. This nonsense eventually got so bad that I was ready to unsubscribe to him until he made a Instagram livestream. In the livestream, he talked about the real reason in why he’s taking a break from YouTube. The COVID-19 pandemic is making him miserable and never talks to his parents about it. He’s been avoiding his friends and girlfriend because he doesn’t want them to know that he’s depressed. He regrets spending all of those school lunches sitting and editing his videos. He can’t stop thinking about the stress he faced during his middle and high school years. He even admitted that he doesn’t like doing YouTube full time. He doesn’t like sitting in his room editing videos all day and getting paid to do it. He doesn’t like having to write all of these scripts just to do simple plush videos. He doesn’t like the concept of being rich. This might have to do with him living in Canada but seriously, something is up with him. He is not the same and someone has to do something about it. He can’t keep taking all of these “short” breaks on YouTube. He really has to decide on whether he still wants to do it or not. He can’t be living a crappy life just because other people like what he’s doing. He can’t always think about his YouTube fans first, he has to sometimes think about himself first. He can’t be getting paid on something he doesn’t like doing. If it wasn’t for YouTube, he would be working at a McDonald’s or something. He wouldn’t be making a lot of money and he definitely wouldn’t be popular. He wouldn’t have time to hang out with friends and family because he would be working all the time. And that’s not different compared to YouTube, it’s literally the same exact thing. It doesn’t teach you life skills and definitely doesn’t help you overcome your problems. It doesn’t give you happiness 24/7 because you would constantly be worrying about what to post and when to post it. Doing YouTube part time or just for fun is a lot different then doing it full time. I hope Super Mario Richie soon realizes this and makes the final decision on whether to keep doing YouTube full time or to quit it completely.
