Description Classic and Modern Rogue. One of my favorite X-men characters of all time.

Believe it or not, i had 7 versions of the background and finally decided on this one.
what? don't like it? Screw-ay you-ay.

I'm starting to become paranoid. o_0 i put a watermark on this piece (first time). should i bother? does it insult you as the viewer? does it take away from the picture?

enjoy!

PS. sorry. no print. (i don't want to get sued)

Watermarks don't bother me either, and with work as lovely as yours, it's a necessity! (Especially when it's a fanart, those seem to get stolen easier.)

I really like these two ladies, I don't know much about X-Men, but I do know that they're beautiful, expressive, and exceedingly well rendered. They're interacting nicely and just look natural.

Did you use a reference for their faces, because they're amazing.

yes, i did use references for their faces... and their bodies too. just want to make sure i get it right!

it was rahter complicated, but i think it turnedo ut nice (except for the green rogue's shoulder)

ty so much! i truly appreciate it!

AAH! It turned out so beautiful! And you did use classic Rogue. In front, too. Hoorah. I'm happy. XD
It just all turned out so good!! It's amazing!!

...Did you just forget to smooth out classic Rogue's near shoulder, though? Cuz it all looks so lovely but at that spot... ?

i may have rushed it at the end, i guess... o_0 yeah, its one of those details that's killing me! thanks for pointing it out. just proves that i should listen to my instincts more often.

Not at all, the watermark isn't THAT noticable.

I think the curves on the old school rogue's breasts are a tad odd and un-uniform. Along with the stomach around the new Rogue.

But you did excellent work on their heads.

i think its okay to have a watermark-- especially from all the art theft going on out there. however, its not like the resolution is large enough for people to save it and print it out on things and sell it or something like that. i dont mind watermarks it just goes to show you care about your work.

i love the hair and the coloring you did! do you have a sketch of this piece?

good point. the resolution i put up is pretty low compared to the original (which is about 200 dpi).
