7x7 inchReeves acrylic + Prang watercolors
Mostly done with Paasche VL airbrush. Acrylics + watercolor on drawing paper. The rest are black markers. This was a study for a project pitch.

This is an awesome picture. There is something irresistible about fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, that people don't always think of as beautiful. I get so sick of seeing strawberries and grapes - tomatoes are like a breath of fresh air! This is such an exciting picture, too. I love the stark color difference and the patterned bands in the background. The shading on the tomatoes looks great.

I discovered by accident how to make the airbrush spatter like the paint came from a toothbrush, only finer.
