Back Story

Hotaru was in her kitchen cleaning the dishes waiting for Kurama to come home with Midori, she sighed. "She need's a Father..." Hotaru said to herself as she rinsed out a glass and set it in the dish rack to dry.

When the front door opened Hotaru snaped her head over to see Kurama walking in holding Midori's little hand in his. "Hey, You're back." She smiled and noticed something in her Daughter's hand. "What do you have there, sweety?" Midori smiled cutely and rised her arm's up for Kurama to pick her up which he did.

"I got a flower for you, Mommy." She said holding it out to her Mother and she took it. "Aww, that's so sweet. But, Why's it a bud?" She asked her Daughter and she smiled again.

"Papa Krama say's that a rose that has not bloomed yet is waiting for the right time to, waiting for that one person to come along so they can show them their true beauty." She said looking at Kurama as he smiled at her. "That's right. I did say that, to the T." Hotaru stared at her little girl for a moment then smiled warmly. "That's really sweet, baby." Hotaru kissed her Daughter on the forhead making her giggle. "And sweet of you too." She said kissing Kurama on the cheek and smiled as he blushed slightly.
