With your paintings do you have a detailed sketch on your paper/canvas first before you start painting? Your work is beautiful and complex and was curious how you like to work. I have a hard enough time just trying to draw/paint one tree. But I look in your gallery and you do trees, leaves, shrubs, sky, those pesky weed things that stick to your clothing.... hehe

Thanks, I do very little sketching on the canvas. I paint a few simple lines and go right in with the paint. I use a lot of palette knife which gives me implied detail. If you look close or see my workΒ in personΒ you can see thick paint and loose strokes.
