Welcome to another Smash Bros Impossible Pick! For our third pick, it's Mega Man Zero from...well, Mega Man Zero.

I remember the time when I first got a Game Boy Advance as a Christmas gift. It had some games packaged in there and one of them was Mega Man Zero. Keep in mind that before getting this game, I was really into the classic Mega Man (I played 1 through 6 during my childhood days) and a little bit of Mega Man X thrown in there. However, when I play Mega Man Zero for the first time, I instantly fell in love. It was a pretty fun game to play and I can still remember the time where I played this game non-stop to beat the game in one sitting. Ah, those were the good ol' days...

As for him in Smash, I really don't think this version of Zero is likely at all. The most obvious reason is that they might use the more popular Mega Man X version of Zero if Sakurai wanted him in. Another reason is, of course, the stiff competition with other Capcom characters like Phoenix Wright, Dante, Monster Hunter etc.

Still, Mega Man Zero is one of my most wanted picks due to my fond memories of playing Mega Man Zero for the first time. Here are my ideas for his moveset in Smash:

Neutral B - Buster Shot: Zero pulls out his buster and shoots his opponent. He can charge up to 2 times.

Side B - Chain Rod: Zero pulls out a Chain Rod and fires it straight towards his opponent. If hit, Zero can pull his opponent in and deliver a powerful slash that knocks them back.

Up B - Tenshouzan: Zero does a jumping rising slash.

Down B - Shield Boomerang: Zero pulls out a Shield Boomerang that deflects any projectiles thrown at him. However, he is vulnerable from behind and it doesn't stop physical attacks either, so be careful.

Final Smash - Cyber Elf Rush: Zero slashes his opponent. Once it hits, we are treated to a cutscene where Zero summons several Cyber Elves to attack the opponent, similar to his Exceed move in SVC Chaos (I completely forgot that he's in that game...) Once that's done, Zero performs a one big slash that sends the opponent flying.

[Classic Mode: The Legend Continues...]
Zero's Classic Mode Route will have him fight against characters who resembles the characters he had fought throughout the Mega Man Zero series.

Round 1: vs. Incineroar
Incineroar represents Fighting Fefnir, one of the Four Guardians and the first one to fight Zero throughout the series.

Round 2: vs. Lucina
Lucina represents Fairy Leviathan, another member of the Four Guardians. I picked Lucina mostly due to having blue hair and clothes, nothing more.

Round 3: vs. Greninja
Greninja represents Hidden Phantom, the third member of the Four Guardians.

Round 4: vs. Pit
Pit represents Sage Harpuia, the fourth and final member of the Four Guardians.

Round 5: vs. Mega Man
Mega Man represents Copy X, one of the toughest enemies Zero has fought throughout the series. Copy X is essentially. as the name implies, a copy of Mega Man X.

Round 6: vs. Zero
Zero represents Omega Zero, an ultimate Reploid who took control of Zero's real body. In fact, he will be in his Omega Zero alt (assuming you picked any alt other than the Omega Zero alt)

Final Boss: vs. Dr. Mario
Dr. Mario represents Dr. Weil, the final villain that Zero fought in Mega Man Zero 4.
