Requested by , who asked me to draw "Dangermouse and Penfold gagged with scarves and tied up with more scarves".I know you requested this several months ago, but I hope you will enjoy it anyway.
I decided to put my own spin on this theme, by having DM and Penfold tied up with scarves of appropriate colours. So, DM is tied up with scarves from Cambridge Uni (mouth), Oxford Uni (feet) and Harvard (hands) - all places where he supposedly studied, according to Brian Trueman in the book "The Dangermouse File".
The same book states that Penfold was educated at "Whipsnade" - the joke being that Whipsnade isn't an educational establishment, but a zoo.
So I gave him the current Whipsnade Zoo logo on the scarf binding his wrists, and used the colours of his tie for the others.Dangermouse and Penfold belong to Cosgrove/Hall.
