That's wild! Makes me think of GORT (Genetically Organized Robotic Technology)

Where could I look into this GORT business?

It is the name of the robot in "The Day the Earth Stood Still" which isn't really a simple robot but a superintelligent being that is the master of the human who is the protagonist of the story, Klaatu. The idea's been used in a lot of places in science fiction, though, robots built from small building blocks according to a basic plan each carries within it, like our genetic material. The replicators in Stargate SG-1 are pretty similar.

Some images just make me ask questions.
This image makes me wonder why there are portraits in all three hands? Who are they ...you family tree (you & your parents)? Just Random images? Einstein?
I also wonder why there is nothing in the blue circles...it looks like a perfect place for you to stylize something/anything?

the reason it is called DNA is because it's a slight metaphorical image of DNA structure, genetics, and what makes us human and whether or not that is predetermined by genetic make up or not. So the images in the hands are like different sorts of archetypes we see in humanity, the top one is George W. Bush, the second one is a prostitute, and the third is a youthful make shift militiaman. the arm is sort of like a branch that leads to these more common archetypes, and the blue circles are meant to be blank, symbolizing societies (not knowing)what it takes to be a leader (and in my opinion when it comes to George Bush being so unqualified for a role like that). The blank blue circles are sort of a visual mechanism to make you think about what exactly leads to a life like that, so it sort of looks like a thought bubble, instead of a branch. The machine itself represents homo sapiens and how efficient, vicious (the mouth), and make shift we can be as a species.

Thank you for explaining that, as I would have never reached that interpretation & it's always good to know the idea behind the art.

I really love the way you have combined organic and geometric elements in this piece. Like the stuff in the robot's mouth looks kind of like what should be on the inside of a living thing. The caricatures on the hands add so much too.
