"Fukushima Syria Cyrus"You see when society's pre-teen Disney princess has ripened and begun to twerk it is always followed by great declarations of our mighty prowess and thunderous chest beatings. We then must create war in a place of great strategic and economic interest in order to prepare for next years harvest. For you see when the maiden twerks we are a proud and mighty people and our great Eagle thirsts for blood and accommodation. This is the way it has been since the first times! We must not question this, for it will endanger the walls of this empire we've built. Perhaps in order to appease the Al-Assad we send not one, but TWO fair maidens, the Miley and the Bieber. They can be sent to twerk in the presence of terrifying Al-Assad and all will be made well and we can expect good harvest for our peoples. For we must trust in our Uncle Sam, he knowth best and bestows great wisdom upon those who have not had the glory of our wrath fall upon their faces. Those oh so mighty mindless eagles will screech through their skies and declare our beauty, power, and skill of the twerk. The twerk that we knowth the rest of the world begs to attain.

This depicts everything about our country today. To me, the contrast of each bold color to the next represent chaos and disorder. Also kind of look like flames, which is pretty dead on since country is basically going up in flames. The dark figures with all the eyes are like the gov't always watching you. What is the meaning with those

well at the time I was living in China. This was that week where they were finding out that the Japanese government had been lying about the nuclear leaks that were still going on in Fukushima that were spreading to the West Coast, the U.S. was gearing up for war in Syria, and then of course that all gets buried in the news by Miley Cyrus's "wacky" performance at the MTV VMAs. that's why I have the natural disaster in the background (the image of the nuclear leak in the ocean), then Dronehead businessmen representing the government gearing towards war (and also the eyes as a touch of surveillance), and of course Miley Cyrus at the forefront. Just like in the news.

Yeah, Sagan or someone around that circle. Sometimes I feel like our country is slowly climbing out of the drudgery of proud ignorance. And then sometimes it feels like it's curling up into a defensive spiky ball ready to stick it's barbs into the face of common decency.

Generally bettering yes, but I know what you mean about the porcupine spikes-to-the-face type of thing. I suppose that means we'll have to be the metaphorical projectile-nullifying antivenom (most likely gelatinous)...

haha, absolutely. It's strange but I do feel a certain sort of loose responsibility to wake people (our fellow citizens in particular) up. To what? I'm not sure, I become less sure every day. Perhaps it's that we don't really know much of anything as human beings when it really comes down to it so to act so arrogantly with isms, laws, and controls is backwards and simply leading towards our own destruction. I think we could be a really unique and incredible species, we already are in some respects, but in a lot of ways we're aggressive, furry, rage machines that are barely out of the jungle in Universal terms. I hope creators, healers, and so forth can help right this ship.
