Amazing work! The colours, the composition... And I really like this version of Smaug, it reminds me of the illustrations Alan Lee did for the book, and I sure prefer a looot that dragon rather than the movie one!

thanks! I also love the illustrations of Alan Lee! That book "the Hobbit" with Smaug on cover is favourite on my bookshelf! and it was some kind of inspiration for this pic as well!

Wow, it would have been really impressive as a digital art or with pencils, but with watercolour? It's absolutly amazing.
Is the picture really very big or do you have thiiiiiiis fine brushes? (And how the hell did you then get them to do what you want? xD)

it's size ~37x47cm - not a small one but also not so big (how I wanted %D)!
and I using a squrell brushes β2 and 3
They %D did what I want coz I totaly fall in love with this characters!)) and added some magic words and less water and more colours on you brush - shake it but do not mix it!

Aww...well, if you ask me, I think it's a perfect acceptable reason to lose a porcentage of brain matter, and even end up in a commatose state, because this is amazing. Β I even lost a bit of my brain too and even some drool in the process. I have fallen in a state of profound admiration XDΒ
