I drew this back in 2013, in my new A5 sketch book i got. Always loves elephants and this was the first time i had ever attempted to draw them.Related content

Good work on the snout's position around the younger one and a very nice eye on the youngster; slightly frustrated but resigned.
Very convincing proportions as well, something very difficult with elephants. Due to the nature of graphite though, the wrinkles are sort of missed out on. But even with those limitations, you've done an excellent job, also with the shading, come to think of it. I'd imagine your newer works are only better though; I must take a look at those.

thank you, i'm self taught and have just gotten back into drawing after a break. I am working on a larger drawing of this original A5 elephants drawing. Trying to figure out how to get realistic wrinkles this time round, I have uploaded two videos onto youtube, hoping for any advice but still new to DA and Youtube but time will only tell!
