Description

One idea for a story arc is the introduction of the Street Cleaners created by Maddie (pre-robotification) whose purpose is to efficiently clean up the streets of Oak River. All the vehicles are self-automated and environmentally friendly. Powered by the garbage collected as well as solar power. No gasoline needed. There's a big ceremony announcement and everything for her achievement. Over a dozen of them roam Oak River.

Billy feels that there is something off about the machines, but he can’t figure out what.

Soon though, the two start to notice that slowly but surely they're seeing less and less of their more supernatural friends/neighbours or other, including: El Chupacabra, Adam, Ozzy, Henry the Wolfman, a few of the Creepy Rat Things, Winnie, a local junkyard Gremlin, The Warlock and Ichabod, Lily, Jekyll (in his Hyde form), Julie the Harpy, Okkou, etc.

By now, Maddie has become obsessed w/ the bizarre happenings in town and wishes to study all of them. The only problem is that finding them is near impossible as many before her have tried and failed themselves. But, Maddie (using her near supervillain level smarts), concocts a means of detecting anything of that nature. During the day, her Street Cleaners do just that, clean up the streets. Nothing of suspicion. At night however, their programming switches to finding the odd and weird. Using a special sensor, it can track and identify anything of that nature. Like a snake tracking the heat of an animal or following its scent w/ it's tongue. It supdues the target and heads back to base. That being Maddies hidden laboratory bunker under her garage. Once there, the target is dropped off and placed in a holding cell where Maddie can study them.

Sarah gets caught by one while out on a late night stroll. This being because she and Billy are both carriers of a bizarre phenomenon that just draws all these crazy happenings (and sometimes they end up going to it by coincidence) to them and causes these events to unfold. This unique phenomenon is amplified when the two are in close proximity to each other — doesn’t help that they are almost always together nearly 24/7. One their own, its weakened, but not gone. Which is why it identifies her as "weird and strange".

- A quick cameo of Lily the Lilliputian in the top corner there getting chased and hunted down by one of the sweeper's vacuums that has slithered up into the attic of Billy's home (where she and her family currently live).
