Description An aggressive didelphodon defends itself from an acheroraptor. The acheroraptor thinks over whether or not it should attack as the  mammal is clearly not going to go down without a fight. It charges at the feathered dinosaur, hissing and snarling. The acheroraptor decides to go for an easier meal. Afterwards, the didelphodon returns to it’s home by the pond.

A speculative scenario in were the larger member of the mammals in the Hell Creek Formation (in this case, Didelphodon) was capable of defending themselves and had a ‘bad attitude’; in a similar matter to the Honey Badger in present day Africa. There is only so much that the fossil record can tell us about the behaviour of these animals, that until someone discovers a fossil that either proves or disproves this (or someone invents a time machine) we can simply speculate and theorize on the subject matter.

not too dissimilar to honey badgers and wolverines.
