Concept sketches of Hedorah, the Smog Monster for “Kaiju Fighter: Jet Jaguar!”

Within this continuity of Hedorah’s creation, a rival scientist to Erika's father at Bio-Major years prior had done experiments w/ using his stolen work as base to build off for his own project w/ finding a solution to pollution. In that so humans use up every bit of food, nutrient, etc. and other actual garbage as a means of energy and to produce very little waste and to re-use that waste. It went horribly wrong (as one can expect) and all the test subjects, humans included, broke down and fused and melted into seemingly mindless tar-y blobs. All of them were contained then dumped far out in the ocean. Ironic. After years and years of festering and mutating to gargantuan size, they return as the Smog Monster, Hedorah. A dark shadow of Erika/Biollante. Eventually horrid bulbous mass makes it ashore. Attacks against it keep causing it to split into bits and more Hedorahs. Each looking more globby than the last and less mish-mash of fused bodies. Soon the team figures they gotta fry the gelatinous suckers with several millions volts of electricity to destroy it. ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️
