Agreed with Boggo, that snake texture works great.

OH WOW!Β I love the snakeskin texture, especially how it works in with the normal skin texture! amazing work, really clever, really well done!

It's brilliant, I've tried doing scales in the past but they never turned out anywhere near this fantastic!

like me, maybe a problem with the bump textures ?

Yeah that was a problem, I've actually moved on now and usually use displacement maps over bump maps, I like that with Disp maps you can raise above and sink below the surface

i have no clue with displacement maps yet...

They work like bump maps, though white is pushed out from the surface the max displacement, black pulled in from the surface the min displacement, and mid-grey is at the surface

i fail trying making dforce with V4, is always a big fail.

yes with older meshes it can be a major issue,Β I often wait for the dforce"explosion" reset and run the simulation again and stop it about 1% before it does it.

same problem, is always at the end the big "explosion"

yup,Β which is why I cancel the simulation just before it explodes, but with a long enough run that the clothing is mostly in position,Β then a little tweaking with morphs...

This one was cancelled at 96%, its a V3 dressΒ

but it came out pretty good, thanks to dforce and persistence!

On the O E I attached yes, it's all dforce on her skirt, I had to stop the simulation at 96% to stop.it exploding (took me 4 or 5 goes before.i figured that out)
