i have a friend who makes these and is finding it hard to work with them. do you have any tips? what kind of paints he should be using etc

I used acrylics produced by Games Workshop and Valleyo, before that I spray it with white primer. It is painting but very small, so I just scale down my brushes to 000 and slowely paint the details. I dont use magnifying glass yet, but it may be usefull.
