This one was a treat!commissioned me to throw some colours at this gorgeous cover for a future issue of his Lost Kids book (sorry Felipe, but I can't remember which issue you said - 3 maybe?). The original art is by the one & only , and a quick glance through my gallery should give you some idea just how fond I am of his lines. Okay, so all those ropes rather did my head in during the flatting stage - I lost count of how many times I exclaimed "rigging's all done!", only to find another bit I'd missed - I thought it was never gonna end! But I finally got there, and I have to say I'm pretty damn pleased with the end result!
anyway, Lost Kids belongs to (go give him some love! he's a goodguy!)

Damn, it's been a while since I looked at this one - I can't believe how washed-out it looks compared to what I'm doing these days. I think if I was to do this now, it would be a LOT different! ^_^

As a flatter I do understand your pain lol
But the result really payed off - it's beautiful, specially the different light sources /colors. You really did justice to the lines.

Thanks so much! The light sources were a bit more pronounced in some earlier versions, but I'm glad it still reads okay.

Well, yeah - I live in the UK, so that's the currency I use. There's loads of sites out there to help you convert between currencies, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out.
Are you asking because you'd like to commission me, or just to find out what sort of rates to charge for your own commissions? Either way, I'd be happy to help you out.

Well, that basics are easy enough to pick up (if you have photoshop of course ^_^ ), and it's always good to be able to add something else to your skillbase.

Hhmmm ... good question. I first started playing with photoshop at work about 10 years ago, got my first home system a coupla years later, and then started to get properly into colouring maybe about 5 or 6 years ago, I think. Gawd, has it been that long?!! ^_^
