"Sometimes as a child when I felt exhausted or overwhelmed, I used to wander off in the fields around my hometown as far as I could. I scavenged for stray animals, forgotten rummage or anything else that would catch my interest and divert my attention from the indifference of my daily routine. One day I found myself drawn to a little hill with a giant boulder on top of it. I'm not certain why, but I stayed there for at least half an hour. Suddenly I found myself and the whole scenery completely bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. It was a warm summer evening and as if it was orchestrated dozens of bright glowflies started emerging from the high gras, creating a truly mesmerizing scene. Henceforth this became my go-to spot were I went when I was in need for a litlle comfort or when I needed to escape for a couple hours. Sometimes in a quiet moment I remember again those days... joyful days. Today I only see drabness. I lend Kinai my strength so that one day these times could come back, for me and for everyone else"

Another shot at trying to get more comfortable in drawing landscapes. Next up I will probably try a first doodle of another OC.
