The Aquarius Zodiac sign is often mistaking for being a water sign. When in fact they are an air sign. Even though they have the water bearer as their symbol they are in fact not a water sign. Aquarius's are fiercely independent and love freedom. Freedom is not only what they love but what they need, if you tie an Aquarian down, this with cause them to rebel and flee. Thought to be the innovator in the Zodiac Aquarian people love to be different and original. They enjoy shocking people with their ideas and out look in life. They are the visionary of the Zodiac. The Aquarius however does have some negative traits, they are or seem unemotional. That is only because they do not let their emotions cloud their judgement and quest for knowledge. Underneath that unemotional looking exterior is a kind person who will go out of their way to help someone in need. They are well in control of their tempers. When they do lose it, no one is safe, though they never mean to hurt anyone, sometimes they just break. Also, they do not intent to be mean, unless you did something to set them off. Aquariuian people are loyal friends and they will do anything to help. They take trust very seriously, once you have broken it, they might never speak to you again.

And, I am proud to call myself an Aquarius.
