Another Marc Silvestri piece this time from Hulk.

This is my more cinematic style rather than this previous piece fav.me/dcwzdnu which is more traditional comics colours.

I strive for atmosphere when I colour. I wanted to something less obvious with this piece. I started by experimenting with the hue for hulks green screen and was going to go for a more subtle colour and then use a warm contrast in the background and thereby make his skin seem greener in contrast. However I can see that the original colourist on this book had already used a warm back ground so I wanted to try something a little different.

I'm really pleased with the blue light on Hulks green skin. The sombre pallet works for me. To prevent it becoming two monocromatic I have introduced the vibrant neon and red/orange lights and the simmering bands on the female characters suit.
