Description Commission for of his OC's Tara and JoBeth. He requested they be in a used bookstore and I was more then happy to give it a try! I need more detailed background and perspective practice, and this piece turned out exactly as I pictured it, so I am thrilled!

Thank you. I use the g-pen tool in Manga Studio 5 for inking. With the stabilizer on it lets me make nice steady clean lines.

Thank you, I will try to use that program, I use photoshop with an intuos tablet but its so hard to ink, everything looks so shaky and bad

I understand completely! I used photoshop for a long time. I definitely recommend Manga Studio 5 (a full copy is $30 on amazon) for the pen stabilizer. It definitely helps if you have a shaky hand,Β  you can adjust as much stabilization or as little as you need.

The girls turned out looking absolutely great here - the composition and lighting are both very warm and relaxed as they're hanging out in a favorite store. The details in the background all look fantastic without overpowering the girls, and their outfits look just fantastic!! It's nice to see just a casual, cute moment with two best friends hanging out on the way home from classes.


Really, really nicely done with many excellent touches all around.
