So you're saying in art I have no credibility as a critic unless I show I can walk a mile in your shoes. For example, Roger Ebert (film critic) wasn't know for his career in film, but...... Read my profile. I have a degree in fine arts. I sold everything I put a price tag on. I've had my w I've worked w/ pretty much every media and have been accomplished at the paths I chose and enjoy the most. I worked as a music and film critic for a college newspaper. Small potatoes yes. I have had illustations in shows and have won awards in state fairs in Calif. and Az. along w/ the college I attended. I'm not on here to display. I rarely comment but I got a wild hair, god forbid and something about a kids comment that was so full of it I couldn't hold back any longer from all this patronizing of poor photography.

Art touches every person in a different way.  Opinions on art are entirely subjective.  So your comments and opinions are your own, and you are entitled to them.  Your mistake is in assuming 'extreme doses of patronizing', which no real critic would ever say.  You make this mistake because you assume that your opinion is the only legitimate one.  It's not.  In fact, Saju is one of the most beautiful women.. IN THE WORLD.   What you see as unexpressive and unemotional, touches me as serene, calm and sensual.   Maybe that doesn't 'do it' for you, but you are wrong in making the cognitive leap of assuming that what YOU see (or don't see) is the same thing everyone else sees (or doesn't see).

So, while everyone is entitled to their opinion, that does not preclude some opinions from being flat out wrong.  In this case, despite your illustrious career as a film and music critic for a college newspaper, you are dead wrong.

Not saying you lack 'credibility' - just that in this instance, regarding this model, you have got it entirely wrong.
