Ça date un peu mais elle est quand même super cute, et moi qui ne suis pas grande fan des couleurs digitales j'avoue que j'aime bien les couleurs toutes simples en aplats comme ça. Simple et très efficace.

In the real folk tale version red has to tear iron clothes before she can see her mother. When she does and is on her way, she meats the wolf who askes what is in the basket and which way she will be heading to get to her mother's. She tells the wolf both, and he takes a quicker route and eats her mother, mostly. When red arrives she sees her mother lying in an odd postion on the bed. Her mother says if she is hungery she should eat some meat from the cubbard. She does, and a cat jumps into the window and says thats your mother your eating. Red tells her mother about this, "throw a shoe at the cat" her mother replies. Red complains of thirst, her mother tells her to drink for the piture. A bird flies down the chimney and says thats your mothers blood your drinking. "Throw your cloak at the bird" says red's mother. Red then complains that she is tired, her mother tells her to undress and to climb into the bed with her. "Mother, what big ears you have." "All the better to hear you with." "Mother, what big eyes you have." "All the better to see you with." "Mother what big teeth you have." "All the better to eat you with." So the wolf ate up red.

Well see the thing is that all european folklore, well as far as the old-old stuff goes, always had sad endings. They were really dark story tellers back then.
