Description
I have a series of creepy monsters and faces created with suminagashi marbling, a process that involves laying ink on water and manipulating the image until the image is desired, and then laying paper on top and capturing a print. No one design is repeatable, and the act of "drawing" on water is very difficult, as every stroke influences every previous stroke. I then scan and digitally manipulate them. I try to think about the Boogie Men as collectible trading cards.
