But If you really wanna know, why.
reason 1: Echizen moved back to America in the end of the series, correct? Sakuno must have been heart broken because of that. As a huge Sakuno fangirl(LOL. yes they exist!), I want her to be with someone, anyone that would give her the love she deserves.
reason 2: Echizen never appreciate the things she do for him. Its so freaking annoying... I just wanna yell at his face for making Sakuno sad!(Like I said, Huge Sakuno fangirl here)
reason 3: KintarouXSakuno.
Remember when Echizen told her that wouldn't it be more difficult to make a origiri taste bad when she asked him if its delicious?
Kintarou dropped by(Literately) and exclaimed it was delicious. That's were I knew a boy besides Echizen could make her really happy.
reason 4: I hate Echizen Ryoma(Not a very good reason but still~)
reason 5: Sakuno has only a mere school girl crush on Echizen while Exhizen thinks of her as nothing more as a friend.
reason 6: I want more then anything for Sakuno's happiness and I do not think Echizen would give it to her 'cause of his obsession with Tennis and Karupin(sp?).
btw, yes, I love AtobeXSakuno. Something about an egotistic rich guy that is so full of himself and an simple common girl like Sakuno appeals to me :/ Its like pot's Tamaki/Haruhi if you think about it.
pls don't hate me for kinda bashing on your favorite pairing D: its okay to like ryosaku as long as you like it.

I see those pairings over the net often, although I'm not really enthusiastic about them, I'm not opposed either.
===I was disappointed about the ending when Ryoma went back to America T_T But maybe things will change in the new manga series that konomi takeshi will release this March? Have you heard about it? He said PoT is actually just a prequel to this coming series~ You can see my journal for proof that it's not just a rumor ^^

Hm...actually, PoT is the prequel
It's kind of shocking since it's been running for almost a decade and it turns out that it's just a prequel.
So that means, in the coming March, the new series will feature older characters of PoT~

Ahh, well, I just watched the first episode of Prince of Tennis. It looks very interesting. I especially love the part where Ryoma beat the high school kid with a tennis ball. 
I'll probably watch more...but I've been slacking off...avoiding my homework (this book that I have to read is very boring...
