Muay Thai (Top Left) is not Kung Fu. I am not much of expert to tell the details but have experienced both Muay Thai and Kung Fu tournament as an audience and I feel that they are different in style and element. I don't know. I just feel. And I don't claim my feel as accurate source of truth. That is just my opinion. Peers in Muay Thai and authority in Thailand repeatedly have been saying through medias that Muay Thai is not Kung Fu. It is misunderstood just because western people recognize Kung Fu in advance of Muay Thai and assumed all eastern styles are affiliated to Kung Fu. Asian is a vast land with considerable diversity. People in Asia have different styles of fighting as well as different culture. Not only Kung Fu or Muay Thai but also many more.
