Likely to be moved to scraps in 24 hours.This picture is an experiment, firstly to test this scruffy colouring style thing, and secondly to see what Belial looks like if I flatten his 'Sephiroth' style hair bumps.
Results:
Exp. 1: The colouring style was fun and quick, but whilst doing it was fun, the result is 'meh' at best. I am not happy with the look of this picture.
Exp. 2: I'm not sure yet =/
As for the picture topic, well, this was an RP session on Flyff (a MMORPG) last year. I drew the sketch back then, but left it to rot on my hard drive. I dug it up a little while back for the purpose of experimenting and reminiscing.
The sleeping girl in blue is Korori, 's character, who is a mercenary on Flyff. The reading guy up front is Belial (my assist), who would not choose to wear that garb, except since that's what assists wear in Flyff, he doesn't have much choice.
Korori is Belial's meat shield. Or that's how he thinks of her >_>; Korori fell asleep outside, I can't remember why, I think Duzell had to go afk, and Belial decided to stick around and keep watch for her under the pretense of reading, rather than leave her there in a field of agro-mobs without any transportation back (her hover board was broken at the time).
You think he's being nice? Don't be silly, he just saw an easy opportunity to gain some more leverage and fodder for the little guilt trips he uses to manupulate her u_u;

T_T LOL she's so misguided though... I think she trusts and likes him much more than she should.
And.. XD Didn't Rori tell him he looked cute in that outfit once? I think she did... like right before they were about to fly off. XD Cause I think he threatened to leave her on the ground. (LOL Her having to ride around on his broom was really funny too)
Didn't she catch him asleep one time too? I don't remember, cause I know how rare it is that Belial sleeps.
XD But they had a lot of semi-cute moments. XD So much fun. I should finish some of the old pictures I have of Belial and Rori from Flyff... It was so much fun RPing them together. Even if he was really mean sometimes. XD
And I wasn't too keen on the coloring at first but the more I look at it the more I like it! It does have a really fairy tale type of look.

Looks really nice .. sometimes the not so polished colouring looks better ! Its like illustration from a book ='D

Thanks ^^ I don't think the colouring looks as good as super-smooth stuffies, but it was fun to do, and made a nice change for me^^
*giggles* I know, he looks rediculous XD He should be greatful that I amended the in-game shorts into trousers >_>;
Could be worse though - his first outfit was pink T_T I'd never been so motivated to level up >_>;; Had to get him out of the pink u_u The top half of outfit he's wearing in this picture reminds me of the RO priestess's costume
Being Belial, I wanted him to be either magician class, or assist (Flyffs equivalent of RO's priest), but I couldn't let him be a wizard, because wizards all wear tophats <_<;; >_>;; Haven't played him in many months though.
As for Belial caring - pah! Never!

I kinda like the colouring; it has a mellow, fairytale-like feel to it, a bit like the art in some of the better books I read as a kid. Water-colours/pencil reminiscent, maybe.
I like his hair too, it's a little more realistic, like.
And her face is beautiful, looks like she's having very good dreams.
