While playing Star Fox 2, I thought: “What could look like the moment Fox met the rookies?”

The scene is funny, but for me the best part is the background, Machine Geometry and mechanical design looks on point, well done

The one thing I don't like about this picture, are the huge heads. This is an issue though, that has always bothered me with the design of the series.
Other than that, it's a really damn awesome image! I personally don't care much for the foreground, but for the background. How the Arwing is being serviced and drawn with a lot of great detail. This whole shot would make a better cut scene, than we've ever had in a Star Fox game.

To say it different, yes I am a fan of realistic humanoid proportions. And it's funny that people argue, that I keep drawing the heads too small, where I say others draw them too big. I don't think there is right or wrong anyway, because it depends on what kind of style you prefer. Big heads are cartoon style, and I have never liked cartoons. Realism has always been my thing.

OOO, okay thank you very much, I still got a long way to go but I have been working on other backgrounds like landscapes but only did it to the sketching process of it and never really came back to it because I have mostly been doing character designs and also being busy with other stuff. (which I hate because I always have the sensation to draw and I feel like I am losing my skills if I don't) I don't have much of doing backgrounds but honestly, I feel like I would understand colors a bit more by coloring in the backgrounds cause all of them were kind of rushed but thank you for the link to improve more, maybe if I was to complete a background I could show you maybe. (sorry for the long response)
