body scanners:

The ultimate way of saying "I'm too afraid to trust in other people and scared shitless by my own government. SO, why not let them do whatever they want with me, take away all of my basic rights in life and op top of that, I'll let them have a good look at my physical attributes while I'm at the airport."

I haven't even experienced and it still pisses me off.

Nice shot, though. Although not that special to me, since it's a blurry shot of a girl with her hand in her pants. Theme could've been portrayed better.

i don't see why having scanners is a big problem??? i mean i'd rather have my body scanned rather then let someone walk in with a gun or bomb. Like really? lets try to be grown up here...

..except for X-rays not being that healthy,
..and the staff..

You are right, there are bigger problems. Bush said that the terrorists hate our freedom, so we have to slowly dimish our freedom The Big Brother society is slowly comming, etc

..but also keep an eye on the antiterrorist drills, the terrorist seems to keep it, see my journal,

When fictions become Realities and answer my poll

You have to be REALLY insecure to protest body scanners.

ANYWAYS. The picture can use a lot of work, if you are truly trying to protest it then the other hand should really be covering the breasts instead of your...ribs? It's also blurry and the white balancing is wrong.

kinda thought i should add a positive comment after everyone else's. I like the idea. If i am right you are referring to the body scanners which are more like x-rays than metal detectors therefore more invasive to ones privacy. But i do agree that some more background on what you are protesting and having the picture in sharper focus with better light woulda been nice. after all that i still like

I don't quite understand how this is a "protest" against bodyscanners. I personally don't see a reason to protest against them anyway. They tend to save lives.

Maybe that's just me though.

And if we are going to go on the quality of this picture, I think that needs a little work also. It's a bit blurry, with a yellow hue, and I think you should remove the trademark across it.

if the picture wants protest against the body scanner, because the maker thinks that they go to far in someones privacy, the blurry-effect could be seen as "wanted". Because it does not look, like the picture is wanted in that moment, but as if someone just "did it" without the persons permission.. (so it would go into the privacy of the person)
