Yay, Obduction OC!  (Can't discuss the game, yet, though, no spoilers plz...it's already been a few months after they released it and there's still no Mac version yet.)

Probably a dumb question, but just to make sure-this is Cyan's long-foreshadowed sister, right?  (And if, so, is red-sorry, "Vermillion"-his favorite color because of her, or does he like the color and admire his sister separately?)

Oh man, it's such a good game! I really hope you get a chance to play it soon... Actually, I had to play it on my Dad's laptop because my own computer is too old. He dropped it off at my apartment before going out of town for work, and I blitzed through most of it over one rather intense weekend.

And yes, she is! It feels good to finally have a logical way to introduce her. And the setting of Obduction just happens to work really well with the sort of nebulous history I'd always had in mind for this character, so that's a plus!

I have a feeling Cyan's love for the color vermilion has mostly grown after his separation from his sister, as it reminds him of her. Cyan is her favorite color too, for similar reasons.

This is so amazing! Just by looking at it I can see what you did to get certain colors (Which I will totally use in my next painting ^-^)

Soft hair seems to run in the family...

You're back!!! Lovely portrait, as always! I love the very subtle green on the ends of her hair!

Oh don't worry, I've never really left. And I'll never really leave.

Thanks! Something I've been trying to apply more in my painted work is inobvious choices for shading and highlight colors... since in reality the colors of the environment around you are going to be reflected in the light and shadow, so you're not just going to have lighter and darker versions of the base color there. Does that make sense?
