So guess who's working at a call center now? Meee! But it's not an evil one, don't worry. We do the radio and television ratings research across Canada. Just FYI, you should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS agree to these surveys when they randomly come your way, because if you don't, programs get CANCELLED!!!! I can not stress this enough. Don't let Firefly happen again!
Also, it may just be me on the other end of the line...Anyway, these are the work doodles I've been whipping up lately. I left my notes intact on the last picture, just so you could get a bit more of the work-doodle flavor.

I now regret adding myself to the No Calls list. Kidding... I always wait for that nasty 1-2 second tell-tale delay up front, then hang up before the prepared speech begins. Sorry.

That delay happens sometimes because the program is on "auto-dialer" and the poor interviewer doesn't even hear that you've picked up or see your name until after you've picked up. It really stinks.
Don't worry, since BBM isn't selling anything they don't have the No Call list.

Well, occasionally they walk by and notice my notebook and I get little comments like "Did you draw that? It's really good!" and then they walk away. It's kind of nice after a few long hours of talking to unresponsive strangers.

Firefly was quite awesome. But, like so many other awesome shows (Pushing Daisies, for one...), it was cut down in its prime because nobody who watched it saw fit to partake in the raitings survey.
