Description ANCIENT ROME SIX DAYS OF FIRE

The mad Emperor Nero, standing on a hill, composes poetry, inspired by the sight of burning Rome, set on fire on his orders.

The Great Fire of Rome began on the night of July 18-19, 64 AD. It was the most terrible in the history of the ancient city, and perhaps one of the most destructive in the history of mankind. The main fire raged for six days. It was possible to finally cope with the fire only by July 27.
