this work i done it with matchboxes using poster colors . the idea was after finishing my matchsticks work artsouls143.deviantart.com/art…then what to do with this matchboxes? i could throw it in way garbage . but i was not felt like that . i thought like i can use this boxes to make art..

i just trying with different materials .how can i make with that recyclable objects.. so i thought why cant make painting on it , made it as canvas that boxes..then paint on it .. its also gift to my friend birthday .. i wont feel to buy gift from shops .. even through iam an artist i can create or make gifts .thats what i like

That is a very nice idea. I do not why but I keep thinking about a puzzle with matchboxes.
A suggestion though: maybe you can put the date on the back of your artwork and leave the signature on the front...

tu m'avais dit de te faire une comentaire alors je vais le faire ^^
alors la technique je la trouve très interessante, ainsi que les couleur, juste peut être le vert devrai être un peu plus foncé à mon gout ^^
il y a aussi la peinture, on voit à travers les motifs des boite, la prochaine fois, essaie de faire 2 couche de peinture, meme en faire 3, cela donnera une plus belle surface ^^
et il y a aussi le personnage, à gauche du dessin, on dirait qu'il a une bosse sur le coté du menton, ça donnerai mieux si tu passait cette bosse avec de la couleur noir ^^ et aussi tu pourra faire dans les prochaine Art une signature plus discrete, la peinture aura bien plus de la valeur ^^
même si je ne suis pas une professionnelle et que j'ai que 16 ans, j'espère que j'aurai pu t'aider ^^

Honestly...you could have first drawn a sketch or something with pencil or marker....then i guess the lines would have turned tidier and neater....i personally felt if the background could have been blended...and the idea of using the matchboxes is great...! I love the idea! dont give up! keep on doing new stuffs!

I've seen several works of you. I think it's very creative to recycle stuff into art!
I'm wondering though, since these matchboxes are probably glossy were you able to make a sketch?
I think the portrait may improve if you sketch beforehand or if you have some kind of guide since it can be very risky painting on these kind of materials.
Keep experimenting! I hope I could help since painting isn't my strongest.

yeah it took me tuff when i started on matchbox.. i need more time to improve on that .it just a start fo me.. all this kind of works i do when i was a free

Your way of using trash and turning it to treasure reminds me of myself. I like that. Very resourceful. A quick tip, study eyes, at least take some time to paint them. Its tricky even for me.... but practie them separately and you'll improve. Keep it up.

ok so first of, Ive noticed that you love the different use of materials as your canvas. That is very resourceful of you.
Second, the material you've used on this one has a gloss cover so probably the paint doesn't stick very well. Try using a different type of paint on this kind surface OR you could first apply a preliminary coating of white in the whole surface so that the paint would stick.
Again, the art work itself is beautiful the use of colors are good.
