ArtSpacious β Eclipse is approaching! So what about ArtSpacious?

May 20th is ever approaching, and with it comes Eclipse's, well, eclipse of DeviantArt. So, a few reminders:
1. Make sure you save all the information you have located in areas that will no longer exist! For example, copy/paste anything from your custom box widgets into a document for yourself, otherwise you may lose it. We don't know how dA plans to handle the transition -- whether such information will be eaten up or somehow preserved for us to at least reference or retrieve in the future. It's better safe than sorry!
2. Save all the artwork others have made for you! As Eclipse takes over, many deviants plan to delete their accounts. Therefore, you may start losing access to pieces you've commissioned or otherwise had completed for you. We suggest saving these pieces to your computer, just in case the artist deletes their account and their art become unavailable to you.
3. Remember, ArtSpacious is here for you, but we will not be completed before Eclipse arrives! So, please, either keep your dA account long enough to keep track of us and to be alerted when we open, and/or join our discord server so you can stay up-to-date without having to go onto dA. You can access our discord server HERE , and while you do not have to chat or be involved in the server whatsoever, it will help you keep tabs on us via our announcements channel. Feel free to mute the server, just so long as you have a way to keep in touch with us when needed! We are also continuing to seek discord moderators, you can learn more in this journal . ArtSpacious does not have a timeline for the public yet and we do not have any information regarding a possible beta testing phase or opening date. We will make an announcement both in our discord server and in this dA group when such updates are ready to be made.
4. And the final thing... as people delete their accounts or go inactive because they dislike Eclipse, we will be unable to reach them. These final ~9 days are our last chance to inform these users about ArtSpacious and at least present us as an option. This is it, the homestretch! If you would like to help us reach as many people as we can, please spread the word about ArtSpacious in statuses, polls, journals, your own discord servers, or even off-site amongst your friends. The very best thing you can do for us is spread our name, because word-of-mouth is the strongest way to bring awareness.

After 15 years on DA I won't be leaving completely... I'll just be spending less time here.Β Eclipse sucks but DA is still probably
the best place to showcase one's art for now, at leastuntil ArtSpacious goes live... looking forward to that day! 
Sadly 3 top-shelf photogs that I watch have already left DA... emptied their galleries & deactivated their accounts because of Eclipse.
I'm afraid there will be many more leaving soon.Β I've also been noticing a huge drop-off for deviations in my daily watch list ... doesn't look promising.

My same opinion. Maybe many people will not leave DA completely, but they will reduce their activity. I know many of them. I could imagine ArtSpacious or Artrise become stronger because of eclipse. I only hope that the going deviants will show the staff they have to make the eclipse better, similar like the classic version at least. I only hope that. The pictures on the front page after I open DA is a mess.

This new artists site sounds awesome.Β Β Β I love how it sounds and some new features you came up with so much. 
now I want stamps posting on profiles and Stamps size gifs posted on profiles still available I just love that feature so much. I love the da green Theme general background, but I know stealing that be would a copyright issue. Please think on that Something neutral like that or letting people do their own general website background themes or give us lots of neutral Bland, basic & nice themes to pick from if possible. Yes I love my customization. I think it needs to be expanded past da availability like I wanna custom everything On my profile like custom backgrounds on everything even like My id box, to My Newest deviations viewing list to journals.
We need something like this.. but all across the board for customizing all our boxes. And obviously remake this so its your own format.

yes I desperately need someone to hold my hand with customization, as I am not very aware of computer coding; or at least a optional turn off and on one step a time directions or step by step customization steps auto doer when I tell it what I want it to do(like to add a stamp(s) or gif(s.) here in this order.) thing for every customization. Like make the website do the css or html exactly where we want it to. Make that feature able to be turned off and on by each users for themselves though. If that's possible??
speaking of customization, we need a simple way to upload like gifs for our profiles and also a general easy way to upload arts that are animated. I never could figure out how to upload animated deviations on da so I just gave up. Make it easy for us to do that. Also on topic of uploading deviations, I also couldn't figure out how to upload deviations from mobile website on da ever. Please make that easy for us on this new website.
I want a llamaΒ trading substitute(like really cool kois maybe since your mascot is a koi fish?). I know its pointless for the arts, but its kind of fun and makes me look at more artists' profiles. maybe make so that can be turned off on individual profiles by that profile owner if they don't want that feature.Β
Lastly one thing that is very important. No matter how awesome this site is, if it doesnβt have many users it is pointless for us artists to Artists community and get real reaching exposure. Think on that. Iβll do my part and share this Journal w/ my watchers on da.

I donβt want to leave my artworks behind. Iβve worked my pics for nearly 11 years and I just started my webcomics this year. Thatβs why Iβm saving my artwork descriptions to my documents that Iβve been world-building on it.

I'm making my dA account as my museum, won't deactivate it. I'm salvaging my bio, my group info, my best journals (will be a recap) and my sta.sh files so I can paste it there when it opens.
We'll be ready when the time comes. Better hope ArtSpacious (and ArtRise) will be featured in Wikipedia!

I'm not leaving DA and I've already saved the art that people on here have done for me.Β However, this website's not the only one that I plan on joining.Β I'm also planning on joining Art Rise once that's ready.

Unfortunately I have no insider knowledge on what will be removed and what won't. I only have my own precaution. Personally, I saved all my custom box stuff, the text I had in some of my folders' headers, and the stuff I had written/coded in widgets on my group pages. But, again, I don't know if any of that will actually be unavailable, nor do I know if other things will be. I'm sorta viewing it as "better safe than sorry" at this point

I plan to keep my DA account just for the people I watch who are staying so I can continue to see their art. I can't wait for ArtSpacious though! I want to start new since I've change so much in many aspects since I first created my DA account almost 2 years ago. I'll make my new page more me. Again, I can't wait!!
