"I'm screaming silently inside my headPrisoner of my dead castle instead of being the king of it
Darkness is filling up my wide opened eyes

From somewhere above you all

This is my first painting, I've been working on this for hours now and I'm proud of the results. I still don't really like the castle but whatever, i passed something like 7 hours on it and I was tired of drawing that.
First I tried to something totaly different, it was supposed to be a abandoned street, it turned out to a big castle like the one in the beauty and the beast, and i finally decided to try what you see now. So here's the result of all my work. I just hope you're hoing to like it, tell me what you think, it will just take a 10 seconds of your time!

Interesting... For some reason, this reminds me of the Metallica song "Ride the Lightning". Not doubt because of the picture's title... Erm, anyway, I could imagine this being set to the solo in the middle. Yeah. I really like the light in the lightning. It looks real nice... especially how it's lighting up the sky and the clouds and the castle around it. It's some nice lighting effects! Good work!

First painting? Dude. Yoo is wicked. I just started working with Corel Painter 7 recently, but I've only done sketches and such with it. Having a tablet would probably make it much easier, though.
