A small little scene I did between mine
and KiyochiHonaru 's characters Evaline
and Sabre.

Short Story Companion:

Bored.

That was the thought bouncing around Sabre's head. It was late at night and he was bored.

So what did he decide to do? Give making a sweet drink another shot. Last time he was a bit too sparse with the sugar, maybe this time he would try a bit more and see how it turned out? He wondered if she would still be up though. Maybe he could take it to her with some breakfast?

He stared at the ingredients before him as he was filling the blender with ice. Was he trying too hard?

"Hmm..."

Nope.

With that conclusion he began blending the ice into fine little shards for the drink. It was such a noisy device, he was thankful the bedrooms were mostly soundproof, though this made him not hear the door opening behind him. As he let the machine die down he heard a noise behind him.

"Ahem..."

He recognised the voice. Turning his head he began, "What are you doing up--" He paused, raising an eyebrow, "Why are you wearing my clothes?" He turned his body now, tilting his head as he crossed his arms across his chest.

Evaline's ears flicked and she held out her arms, turning to show off, "I wanted to see how they felt! It is really warm!" she giggled.

He froze, feeling his heart beating in his chest as his cheeks turned red. He lowered his face as his arms uncrossed, walking towards her in silence.

She blinked, "Huh? What is it?"

Without a word he grabbed her wrist and began pulling her from the kitchen, through the dining hall and into the grand foyer with little resistance.

"Eh? Where are we going...?" she asked softly.

He didn't even look back at her as he led her to the nearest bedroom, hers, "Somewhere private and I need you with only that jacket on..." he muttered. Before she could ask any other questions he swiftly opened the door, pulling her inside and closing it behind them.
