Look at that. More Stangst. What else is new from me. XD An ask I got to draw more Stangst. So in the journal, when the Pines family is on the road of helping Stan recovering his memories, Ford is the one that works at it the hardest. Stan and Ford watch home movies from when they were little to help with the process. This is how I imagine the first day went.I'll try to draw more happy stuff! But when angst calls, I cave in. XD

That was my favorite part to read and I just love the fact that Dipper doodled his two Grunkles beside each other sleeping. Makes it even more sweeter. It's very telling of Ford that he had those rolls of film and the photo of them all this time. He may not want to admit it, but he really did miss his brother. I've been wanting to draw my own version of this, but I haven't decided what to do first.

This is why that journal was gold, it inspires fanart like this. Omg. What feels. This is so lovely and made my heart jump. ;w; I love them so much. I really love the lighting you put them in. I just find it so adorable that Ford had all these home movies of them. He found that important enough to keep. Aaah, my heart.

sdgjfhsdk'jjhgh I have been drawing them lately myself. There are two in my gallery if you're interested. I just heart them. I really loved the journal because it gives you so much insight on Ford's character development towards the end. It was so satisfying to learn that he actually apologized profusely to Stan and the fact that they bonded so much before the end of the summer. And dont even get me started on that adorable picture of them fallen asleep watching home movies. I'd seen that in fanart but a canon picture? that makes me beyond happy. I have so many brother feels for them.
As for your art, I'm sure you've noticed i've faved quite a bit. I just have to say I really love your stuff and how much you draw them. Your work is great! x3333

Pretty much same here. I keep telling myself I wanna draw theother characters too, for practice and such but I always wind up drawing the Stans in brotherly cute situations. hehe. And the Stangst, man. The Staaaaangst.

The Stangst kills me and makes me want to die when I see it. I can only endure it if it ends with consoling and hugs and stuff. Because it makes me so sad. I need my beebs to be happy. <3 but of course, in the same breath, it is a lot of fun to draw because these two have so much drama to work with. i was very happy to actually canonly read about how much guilt Ford had for what he put Stan through and how truly sorry he was and that he kept apologizing. God. Thats so cute. I cant. I imagine him doing it too much and Stan gets annoyed and shakes him yelling "I said its okay!" haha and then they hug <3333
I also had a thought come to me. Okay, so we know Mabel's scrapbook was bringing back Stan's memory of everyone, but according to the journal it took a few days before it all came back, which is why Ford set up home movies and such. After that scene in the show, Stan may not have remembered Ford just yet! dfjghfjdjdkf just to hear him ask "who are you" would kill me. *drowns*

Oh I know. When there is no comfort at all it just ruins me. But it's so true. They went through so much hell and there's so much to draw and guess what happened because of it. And the fact that he kept apologizing. Hnnnngh. They always break me down emotionally. XD I can see that happening

Yeah, so my favorite kind of art is the sad comfort art. heehee, that and the sleepy cuddles. Lord knows Ford has decades of sleep to catch up on. w @ Their bond just makes me so happy, even with everything they've gone through. <3333
Im sure he might've heard them and it probably cut like a knife because it was his fault it happened, because of his mistake years ago. And he worked the hardest, according to the journal, to get Stan back to Stan and remember their life, probably even the not so good parts. It couldn't have been easy. I imagine so many emotional talks and I cry ;w; wehhhhh

Their bond absolutely gives me life. But then there are those people who take it to the extreme.... I mean everyone has their ships, but I just can't wrap my head around it or get behind it. As long as my art isn't tagged as such I'm perfectly happy. What is wrong with having platonic love?

You see thats the thing. Now if you've seen my gallery, its obvious. I am a slash shipper. I ship all types of pairings. But I just can't pair siblings. I can't pair family. It gives me the heebies. Like, okay. let me explain it this way. I ship the the Stan twins hardcore as family! Family only. Like I friend-ship it XD I platonically ship the beebs. Meaning I like all the bonding and the huggles and the cuteness....just not the 'romantic' stuff. I mean, to each their own but I just can't. These two share a pure brotherly love and its beautiful the way it is without having to add a romantic/sexual aspect to it.
I knooooooooooow. OMG. Can you imagine Stan remembering something from his homeless years and its so fresh in his mind that he tells Ford about it and Ford just feels worse. aaaaah. that poor beeb is gonna have so much guilt for a while. But I'm sure Stan will console him and let him know everything's okay and he forgives him. nmfdnfkhfdjnjsd

I can't either. It just.... It's way too much to even think about that. Now that I can agree. They can have huggles without it being romantic or sexual in any way. I have yet to see that on my art but there will always be that one. That's why I put no shipping or this is platonic whenever I post a pic of those 2 together.

Yeah. Some people tend to not care or see genetic relations as a barrier for their ships. I respectfully disagree cuz I think family is sacred like that. They can hug, sleep next to/on, other familial bonding without needing to cross that line. I mean, they're twins. Twins are close, its expected. Haha, like i said only shipping them as bros. Traumatized, emotional bros who need all the hugs they can get.
OMG or the situation he was in when he received the post card from him. *cries* One thing i find beautiful is he didn't have any money to pay whoever he owed that he thought was at the door but he somehow scraped together enough cash to make it to Gravity Falls for his brother, even after not seeing him for more than a decade.

Now I havent posted too many pics of them just yet, only two but im afraid if i draw them too close people are going to think I ship it in that manner, and i don't. w @ but i suppose disclaimers is all you can do. Buuuuut don't be afraid to post fluffy stuff because I would loooove to see it!

The fluff gives me the fluffies dfsjfhjdgm,njsdf and its mainly because they've been through so much pain that seeing them happy and together after so long apart makes me melt.
